Saturday, 9th April between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm for £10 on the door you can workout and have fun with the latest Latin dancing craze, the “Zumbathon”, a mixture of fast-paced Latin music, aerobics and sculpting. It’s for all the family, and any level of fitness.

The event will be held at the Everdon Sports Hall, Northampton University.

All proceeds to be shared between Help4Heroes, Veteran’s Aid and the Royal British Legion.

All welcome. No previous booking required.

A group of local business people have joined forces to raise £25,000 in a good cause.

The group is called Shire Heroes http://www.shireheroes.org.uk  in recognition of all the brave men and women across every Shire in the country who are serving in the Armed Forces.

The highlight of the calendar will be an Armed Forces Summer Ball to be held on Friday, 24th June, Franklin’s Gardens, Northampton. Guests can enjoy an evening of elegance and fun whilst supporting such a good cause.

Tickets £30 per head, corporate sponsorship tables for 10 available. Book via website.

Shire Heroes is seeking pledges, gifts and donations – anything that ‘money can’t buy or that you would like but couldn’t justify buying for yourself’ and which can be auctioned on the night.

“This carefully planned and well supported event is a great way for businesses to come together under their ‘Corporate and Social Responsibility’ initiative to support our Armed Forces and Veterans,” says event organiser, Julia Watson.

Young Heroes aged between 10-16 years please step forward! Raise money through activities to help.

All proceeds will be shared among Help4Heroes, Veteran’s Aid, and the Royal British Legion.
