Matts Match - please help!

I have just heard about a lad called Matt Herbert, who is only 15 and has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in December last year.  He has had a really traumatic, invasive chemotherapy treatment, but now needs a bone marrow transplant in order to survive, but unfortunately there haven't been any matches so far.

So, with the help of the Cobblers, the Old Northamptonians, Northampton School for Boys, The Saints, Barclaycard and Nationwide, there will be donor clinics happening over November and December to try and find a donor for Matt.

It's not the clinic where they take blood - all they need to identify a match is your saliva, so it's not even painful!  Matt is only 15 and has already endured so much through this illness, so if you want to help him, simply visit one of the clinics and give them a bit of saliva.

The Clinics are held on:

Saturday 21st November - 12.30 - 6.30pm at Cobblers Ground, Sixfields

Thursday 26th November - 5.30 - 9.30pm at Old Northamptonians Ground, Billing Road

Saturday 5th December - 9am - 1pm at Northampton School for Boys

Saturday 5th December 12.45pm - 6.45pm Saints Rugby Ground (clinic open to match ticket holders only)

Monday 7th December - 3.30pm to 7.30pm at the Saints Rugby Ground.

Apparently there are 16,000 patients who are looking for suitable donors, so it would be great if we can help.  You need to be 18-40, in good health, weigh over 8 stone and fully committed to provide a bone marrow donation to ANY patient worldwide who is a suitable match.

If you or your family can help, please do visit one of the clinics - for a little bit of spit, you could save someone's life.
