How to make great tasting healthy pancakes


Things you will need – serves 2 (or one hungry individual)

  • 2 whole eggs
  • 6 egg whites
  • Oats (instant or rolled)
  • A sprinkle of Cinnamon
  • Milk (Almond, Rice or normal Diary milk)
  • A blender
  • Non-stick pan
  • Spray oil (non stick would be perfect)
  • Chocolate Whey Protein (one scoop)


Step 1:

Start by blending the oats, eggs, milk, cinnamon and protein. Make sure the mixture is runny but not too runny, adjust with the amount of milk added.


Step 2:

Heat up the pan and spray your oil - but keep it on low heat so to ensure the pancake is cooked inside and pour in half the mixture.


Step 3:

Ensuring the pancake is cooked about 7-8 minutes in – flip it! This can be make or break so ensure that the pancake is cooked properly.


Step 4:

I like to spread some peanut butter and put blueberries with cut banana to add some fruit and give it some variety but this is up to you. A little bit of honey may also taste great – a personal favourite addition of mine is to add some greek yoghurt and sprinkle chia seeds.



Give it a go and you will be fuel throughout your morning and feeling great! Oats actively help lower cholesterol and are a great complex carb – add in your eggs and whey protein with fruit on top and you have a great balanced meal. Let us know how great you found it in the comments section below!
