With festival season officially under way, a care home in Newbury is welcoming the community for fun-filled days of food and celebration. Care UK’s Newbury Grove will open their doors to families and neighbours for a food festival, inviting guests to tuck in and celebrate the nation’s shared love of great cuisine, community and connection. Guests are invited to enjoy a special talk from Ben’s Berkshire Bees on Thursday 6th August, from 2pm-4pm, during which he’ll share the process of making honey and caring for bees sustainably. A host of sweet treats will be on offer, made by the home’s Head Chef, Philip Pereira, such as honey flapjacks and muffins.
