More than 60 customers at the Wheatsheaf Inn, Dry Doddington were treated to a wonderful Taste of Germany last night.

Chef, Dan Bland, created the most amazing menu and definitely did justice to the best food Germany has to offer.

Customers feasted on regional mouthwatering delights such as: pork schnitzel, sauerbraten (marinated beef), bratwurst and Dan's home smoked schweinshaxe (ham hocks). The evening was topped off by a slice of the biggest schwarzwalderkirschtorte anyone had ever seen!

Everyone got into the swing of the evening and some guests, despite the chilly evening, even wore their lederhosen!

The next speciality food night will be 'A Fish Supper with a difference' at the Wheatsheaf Inn on Thursday 2nd December, followed by 'Game night' on Thursday 3rd February. Places are going very fast, so please book ahead if you don't want to miss out.
