The fundraising masquerade ball for Beaumond House Community Hospice, Newark on Saturday 7th May 2011 was a great success! The event which was held in the Georgian Ballroom at Newark Town Hall raised over £4500. That figure is yet to increase as David Gates Photography/Steve Watson Photography are kindly donating a percentage to Beaumond House from each print sold from the photographs that were taken on the evening.
All of the tickets sold out and everybody looked great – making a fantastic effort to get glammed up in ball gowns, tuxedos and masks.
A special thanks goes out to the headline sponsor, Phruit who also donated four hospitality tickets to see Bryan Adams which raised £200 in the silent auction!
The other sponsors who also made the evening possible were National IT Learning Centre who sponsored the Chocolate Fountain, Setel who sponsored the Table Magician Brian Hellyer, and Wright Vigar who sponsored the welcome drinks.  Capital Media and Ultimate Print for their help and support with advertising and printing, and also the table sponsors SAKS, Eclipse, Mrs Rose & guests, and Setel.
A big thanks also goes out to Illuminated Entertainment for free use of their equipment for the disco and to Fe Fi Fo Funk Daniel Spendlow who all performed on the night free of charge – they were fantastic and had the guests up and dancing all night making shapes on the dancefloor!  The Hog roast and chocolate fountain also went down a storm.
The raffle raised £1000 - Raffle prizes were kindly donated by; A Womans' Touch - Painting & Decorating, Creations Beauty, Domino's Gift Shop, Eden Hall Day Spa, Fenlane Joinery Services, LA Fitness, Notts County Cricket Club, Pratt & Gelsthorpe, Queens Court Studio, Royal Theatre, Nottingham, Strays, Newark, Susan's Cakes, The Riverside Restaurant, Travel Wright, and Whites's, Newark. Thank you to Anita Newport at the Beehive Salon, Balderton who sold a substantial amount of raffle tickets.

Anybody who had their photograph taken on the evening can purchase these from 13th May at www.base-photography.com. These are to view in the client area, please enter code masquerade7. £2.50 from each print will be donated to Beaumond House.
