Lincoln, Newark and Gainsborough Colleges are among the first in the country to have achieved a prestigious careers advice award. Various staff and students were interviewed to determine how effective the college’s services are and the assessor described it as a “fantastic” review.
Good communication throughout the college and between external partners was seen as a strong point. Staff commitment and pride in their work which clearly showed through and good planning processes are amongst other strengths.
Mike Hoyer, the Guidance Team Leader stated “I am delighted that the Student Services Guidance Team and the Learning Resource Unit Careers Zone has successfully achieved re-accreditation. We want to provide the best services we can for our students and work has already begun to ensure that the high standard remains constant.”
