Newark came together last weekend for Newark-on-Trent Carnival, Nursery Rhymes, 2010. We have pictures here of Beaumond House Community Hospice (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star) and Sue's Place (Hey Diddle Diddle - you can see the cow jumping over the moon!)- two great local charities.
The Carnival Parade, Newark in Rhyme, was a great way of bringing schools, groups and organisations together and it made for a wonderful pageant as they marched down the streets to Sconcefest lined with people
Visitors took advantage of the great weather and gathered on Sconce and Devon Park.
Groups and charities inlcuded the Newark Lions and the Scouts; there was music by the Party Kings Band, a display by Newark Dogs Club and a wonderful demonstration by the Ice Diamonds Xtreme Cheerleaders.
