QUALITY CONTROLLER - c£25K Our local client is seeking a Quality Controller to manage product quality, providing direction, guidance and support in all areas of quality management, ensuring Health and Safety legislative compliance and best practice at all times.

Key Responsibilities are;

• Ownership of the quality control - you will lead the development of quality assurance for...r manufacturing process... and product design. Responsible for making any improvements where appropriate. • Liaise with Works Manager to ensure Quality and Health & Safety requirements are achieved.

• Reading Working drawings you will ensure accurate recording of information to enable quality to be measured. • Ensure all areas work to legislative guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy working environment. • Working closely with internal departments and end customers you will resolve non-conformances identifying the route cause and planning corrective action • Manage and monitor the quality management software, run supplier audits and quality checks

• Be involved in the H & S of the company, ensuring compliance in accordance with HSE and company standards.

• Prepare and analyze inspection reports and quality information. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience within a concrete environment or have experience of working within a heavy manufacturing environment. You will have excellent analytical skills, data analysis and a solid understanding of Quality control. MAINTENANCE

ENGINEER c£30.5k We have an excellent opportunity to work for a local company who operate within the food industry. The new recruit will join an experienced maintenance team; this role is multi-skilled with an electrical bias. The main purpose of the job is to provide first class maintenance support, help with projects ...and improvement workon PPM program...mes, contributing to the smooth operation of the organisation's production objectives and targets.

The main duties are:

  • To diagnose and fix all electrical problems on machinery with minimum disruption to production.
  • Basic fitting duties, inspecting machinery and minor fabrication work will be required.
  • Adhering to health and safety legislation, food hygiene legislation and company policies whilst carrying out your duties.


Desirable skills & Qualifications:

  • Factory based electrical maintenance skills. - Ideally from a food manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical regulation certified helpful but not essential
  • If you are interested in this role, you need to be flexible to work 4 on 4 off on a rotating day and night shift.

You will help design and manage a variety of projects including printed collateral, advertising, POS items, Graphic Design, Social Media campaigns, and Web Design. ...Reporting to the company director you will respond to internal briefs with creative concepts and ideas – always working to brand guidelines to ensure brand continuity.

Requirements of the role are;

  • Educated to degree level; 
  • Ideally we would seek someone with two years commercial experience as a designer.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver essential.
  • Some animation experience would be helpful but is not essential for this role.
  • Creative individual, with meticulous attention to detail and proof reading skills.
  • Flexible sociable team player with ability to brainstorm new design ideas.
