Halloween and Pumpkins

Up early working and trying to help out with 11+ maths - very tricky! Had to consult the computer a few times which wasn't much help. Factors of, fractions and decimal points I couldn't do then and I can't now. Mathematics is absolutely my idea of sweat chilling horror and therefore very apt for Halloween!

Whizzed up to Newark Showground for the Christmas Fair - immensley relieved that Nats is too old for Peppa Pig. Not so long ago we used to watch 15 minutes of Peppa and her family's antics religiously every morning before school. Bumped into Jenny, friend and bookkeeper, who was on a mission to buy all her Xmas pressies. Bought some thigh high candles for my bro and his girlfriend who are into Fair Trade and organic stuff. By midday I was out of there - the place was heaving.

Back home to find the windows covered in blue tac, spiders and skulls hang from pieces of cotton, phantom shaped paper is stuck to the door, a home-made red felt-tipped bandage hangs from a finger and of course the inevitable pumpkin is gutted!

Happy Halloween everyone!
