Cafe Amore is my kind of coffee shop, warm service, excellent coffees and plenty of food to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a quick sit down or somewhere to meet with friends, Cafe Amore welcomes everyone.
On Monday 25th November I went into Cafe Amore to have a chat with its owner Martyn Kirby. I was greeted instantly by Martyn himself and we sat on his sofas to have a chat so that I could learn more about him and his business.
Martyn Kirby used to work as an Operations Manager for a pub company but always had the wish to be independent. He decided that he wanted to open up a business and began planning 5 years ago and a year later he opened his first coffee shop in Market Rasen, Caenby. Upon its success he opened another a year after on the A1 Northbound in Cromwell. Finally, in 2013 Cafe Amore came to Newark serving over 40 different coffees and more than 30 different teas accompanied by a mouth watering menu. Their coffees include the basics; americano, espresso, cappuccino and so on, but Cafe Amore don’t like to keep it simple so they have also included flavours like the white choc cherry mocha, creme brulée coffee, orange and cinnamon spiced latte and so many more.
It’s not only the coffee and tea that’s impressive, the menu itself is full of appealing ingredients, they give you plenty of choices and exciting ones at that. For breakfast they offer all the classics; bagels, full english, muffins, pancakes and even porridge and cereal! For lunch you could have a sandwich, salad, gourmet burger or their pie and mash, each one coming with its very own extensive list of fillings that will have you drooling.
If that wasn’t enough, Cafe Amore also has its own brand of milkshakes! In your Igmoo you can have practically anything; cereals, biscuits, cakes, sweets, chocolates and fruit. It’s a perfect cool summer treat or just when you fancy something that will satisfy your sweet cravings.
You can also have Cafe Amore delivered to your door as they’re setting up mobile coffee vans so that your coffees and teas will be made on your doorstep and delivered hot. So if you’re at work and struggling for time then pre-order one of their delicious meals and a coffee with a specified time and Cafe Amore will do the rest!
