Tim Dalling and The New Rope String Band were playing in Dry Doddington recently and they needed last minute accomodation and a good hearty breakfast at the farmhouse. Here's what they had to say about their B&B stay:
"We just needed a place for one night but thay were really flexible and all the arrangements were very easy and we were made to feel very welcome. The place has been done up beautifully without spoiling the great original features of what is an amazing old farm. I got a great tour of some vintage pottery and victoran graffiti thrown in for free. There is also a resident authority on Richard III and mediaeval literature available, should you need one. When asked if there was anything else we needed, I jokingly requested Indian Head Massage. Turns out the neighbour's trained in that. We'll certainly stay again when we're in the area. Thanks. "
If you are competing in Belton Horse Trials, Grantham March 30 - April 1st then do consider staying with Westborough Farm B&B. They will give you a warm welcome as you can see by this review and make life easy for you if you have dogs or indeed horses to stable.
