I met Alison Bates Grad Assoc MSc MCSP last week out at the M10 Studio on the Newark Mariner. I can see instantly why her clients love her - she is so warm and friendly. A customer was with her when I arrived and all I could hear were proclamations of gratitude.

Alison qualified in 1987 from the Sheffield Polytechnic School of Physiotherapy. She spent her first three years working at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham and went on to study a Masters in Sports Science. She has worked in private practice since 1990 and set up Rushcliffe Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic in 1994. Alison has worked with Nottingham County Rowing Association & the Great Britain Rowing Team for a number of years and has rowed at National level herself. Alison's particular interests are in chronic pain management, connective tissue pathology and rehabilitation after trauma and sports injuries. She also holds her postgraduate qualification in Acupuncture and has recently attended courses in connective tissue release.

This is one incredibly talented and experienced lady - so if you are looking for rehabilitation after trauma, chronic pain management or help with sports injuries I would suggest you contact our newest member Alison Bates at Core-Physio. Help is at hand!!

You can contact our Chartered Physiotherapist on Newark 01636 612390. Her webpage on The Best of Newark will be up and running shortly.
