To enter this fantastic competition all you have to do is submit
your favourite recipe, which you will be required to cook for a
panel of judges.
It doesn't have to be a complete three course meal, it can be just the starter, main course or dessert.
The top four dishes for each course will then be selected to take part in a semi-final 'cook off'.
The judges will select the two best in each course and these dishes will be prepared by a professional chef and served at the Grand Final at Rushton's Bistro on Sunday August 21, 2011.
Advertiser readers will be able to book a table at Rushton's for
this special occasion and will vote for their favourite dishes.
The winner in each category will be announced on stage that afternoon at the Newark Food and Drink Festival.
Please provide us with the following:
- Course (Is it a starter/main/dessert?)
- Ingredients
- Method
- Approximate cost to make dish
- Photograph of your completed dish
- Your name and address
- A daytime contact number
You can submit as many entries as you like but they must be your own recipe and the picture must be of your own work.
The winning dishes will be included on the seasonal Rushton's Bistro menu and there will be a variety of other prizes for all the finalists.
