New Kingfishers manager has wasted no time in making some key additions to his management and coaching team.

Current Club Captain and former manager Andrew Smith moves upstairs in a playing assistant’s role joining Gareth Blackburn who made a huge contribution last season.

FAW coaches’ mentor and A license candidate Dave Murphy who headed Monmouth’s Academy last time out takes control of Youth development and management of the Under 19’s team, while discussions are still taking place to fill the vacant reserve team role.

In another key appointment Andy Havelot has been appointed as football secretary with his wife Tracy as assistant. Andy has extensive experience in a similar post during Cwmbran Town’s Welsh Premier and European campaigns and is a superb addition to the team.

All of the club’s 20 plus coaches are invited to attend an open meeting to meet the new senior coaching team on Thursday 13th June at 7pm at the Clubhouse
