Club Announcement
The Club’s Board has accepted the resignation of Barry Burns and Robin Pick as first team joint managers and Barry from his role as Director of football.
We also acknowledged the huge contribution both Robin and Barry have made over the past decade in various roles not least in playing a leading role in driving the club’s football and organisational ambition and know how during that time. In short they were the most successful managers in our 137 year history.
Their energy, commitment and selfless dedication mostly without financial reward or indeed recognition at times is also noted and we appreciate all that they have done to help us achieve the things we have on and off the pitch. Whatever we achieve from here will be in no small part down to them.
We wish them both well in whatever role they have in the future and assure them that they will remain friends and welcome members and guests of the club.
We will be in discussions with several candidates about the vacancies resulting from these resignations and make some announcements over the coming weeks.
