The Monmouth & District Angling Society has for 61 years been offering high quality fishing at low cost to the local community and visitors to the area.
Annually renewable Memberships and Day Tickets are available from the Tourist Information desk at the Shire Hall, Agincourt Square, Monmouth.
There are no additional joining fees.

We fish over 1 mile of the River Monnow (Trout, Grayling, Chub, Barbel, Dace, Perch and Roach), 5 miles of the River Trothy (a wild brown trout stream) and approx 1 mile of the River Wye (Coarse only) where Barbel and Chub are the favoured species.
The club also offers stillwater fishing for Carp, Tench, Bream, Perch, Roach and Rudd.

The club is actively looking to increase Junior members who for £5 annually can fish all waters.

Plans for 2014 include offering fishing instruction for beginners, competitions and the opportunity to help with ongoing riverbank regeneration and protection work.

We are a"no frills" organisation with no club house but members meet monthly at the Three Horseshoes Inn, Monmouth and visitors are welcome. Our AGM is on November 25th at he Three Horsehoes and we would welcome seeing new faces.

In 2014, the club website www.monmouthfishing.co.uk will be further improved to keep members and others in touch with issues both on and off the waters. Please get in  touch if you have any queries.
