Jubilee Fair at Bridges

Here at Bridges Community Centre we were keen to add to the Jubilee Celebrations in early June, so the Events and Marketing Committee, with  the help of The Best of Monmouth, are busy planning a Jubilee Fair to take place on Tuesday, June 5th, the second of the Jubilee Bank holidays.

The main aim is to provide something fun to do on the second of the Bank Holidays, when people could find themselves at a loose end after the street parties and picnics in the park. There will be plenty to entertain the whole family: stalls for local producers of food, crafts etc in the Agincourt Hall, a Car Boot Sale outside and entertainments such as face-painting and a bouncy castle for the children.  There will be food and ice cream to buy if you should get hungry around lunch time and in the afternoon, cream teas will be served in the Ballroom. To maintain the Jubilee Theme and provide a touch of elegance, the tea will be served on vintage china.

We hope to add other attractions as the time gets closer – anyone who would like to book a stall indoors, to hire a pitch for a food outlet or entertainment, please get in touch with Bridges at the address below. Car Booters, at £5 per car, turn up on the day!

So, put the date in your diary and join us for what promises to be a good day for the whole family!

If you would like to book a stall in the Agincourt Hall, please contact Bridges Reception on 01600 715638, email: reception@bridgescentre.org.uk
