Monmouth Carnival needs you and your classic car to join them for a celebration of vintage and classic cars on Sunday July 28th. The cars will go from the top of Monmouth down the high street to the bottom of town through cheering crowds as part of the carnival parade. The parade with marching bands, floats and classic vehicles begins at Priory Street and ends at the car park at the end of Monnow Street.

Timings are approximate but the cars gather around from 11am at Dixton fields. The judging happens at 1.45 and then the parade begins at 2pm lasting around half an hour. There is a special area reserved for the cars to park in. Afterwards there is a chance for the public to come and ask you about your car so please bring a picnic and come and enjoy the carnival atmosphere. The cars are always very popular!

Carnival Sunday coincides with the 31st free Monmouth music festival, one of the biggest in Europe which runs from July 26th to August 3rd so join in the fun and listen to some fantastic local and national talent.

Please contact  Robbie  by email robbiekcampbell@o2.co.uk or call 01600 716 115 if you would like to participate in the Carnival Parade. He would be delighted to hear from you.  The Carnival has public liability insurance.
