I cannot recommend The Stag highly enough. Great atmosphere, friendly staff who are more than happy to chat or help in anyway they can. The food tastes amazing,high quality, lots of choice and very reasonably priced. If you get a chance go to one of their live music nights .. personal favourite is Sausage and Cider weekend, once again great food and brilliant live music. The only down side is I don't live close enough to pop in every evening. Excellent pub.
