I came with high hopes excited to experience a traditional fish monger. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. I wanted fish for my sushi creations so open to suggestions I took advice from the experts! I bought their Tuna, Salmon, cod, small shrimp and fish roe. The fish cuts were super delicious - both the salmon and tuna were sensational!! However, the salty smoked fish roe was positively disgusting and absolutely not a good recommendation for my sushi!! I am marking down my score as the fish experts on this occasion should have known better. If you read this review please avoid telling other sushi makers to get your smoked roe. That said, if want a delicious fresh fish supper do stop by as this is a lovely "plaice" which still deserves to do well.
