Went last night for Chinese New Year. First visit, but will not be the last. Great atmosphere, very nice banquet and exemplary and friendly service.

Timing is spot on, food service is fast but not pushy (its nice to have a little breather in between!)No pressure to leave for anyone booked in after us.

For a Chinese restaurant HAN is better than average. The banquets are good and if its fairly busy there is a good atmoshpere. The staff are friendly. The food has been good on the few occassions I've been there.

Food: Plenty of it but a tad expensive and very salty, about an hour after leaving the restaurant we both had very dry mouths and needed to drink lots of water.
Ambience: We were seated at the top of the stairs and were quite cold due to the draught from the stair well.
Service: Excellent, the staff are very friendly and efficient.
Would we return or recommend? Overall probably not.

Six of us ate here and again we chose the Banquet Menu. Really nice food, the platter starter was great and the Peking Duck to follow was its usual good standard. Many dishes followed and we wound up with the customary banana fritters and ice cream.
All of us enjoyed the entire evening and in due course we will be back.

I went on a Saturday night and it was standing room only. However, the food was good (HAN Banquet for 6) and lots of it. Despite it being full service was also quick and we didn't have to wait too long for any of the courses.

There are two Chinese restaurants in Market Harborough and Han is regarded as Market Harborough's premium one. This is certainly true in terms of price, service and atmosphere/ambience. Taste, however, is debatable. The food here is very good (particularly the crispy Peking duck), but generally I would not say that it is any better than Market Harborough's other Chinese restaurant, which is definitely worth a try.
Han is great for a romantic meal for two, family meal or special occasion. The banquets represent relatively good value here, so check those out. Whatever you do though, don't skip the Peking duck!

Ate here with a group of friends and we had the "banquet" option for about 22 pounds each, so certainly not cheap and in my mind we had very average food and indifferent service.
Really not much else to say other than we were disappointed and it was sad as we had made a special effort to come to see our friends and they made a special effort to make sure we had a good time. A real pity but we will not be back to Han's

Never disappointed with the food-either in the restaurant or the take away. Fresh, tasty and not at all greasy. Would recommend the Szechuan King Prawns.

The restaurant upstairs is well set out with distance between tables. Food was excellent and plentiful. There were 5 of us and we had a shared set menu which was cooked well and delicious. Staff very polite and helpful.

Very upmarket. Super surroundings and staff. Food excellent together with exceptional wines. Chef will create any dish you want (within reason!). Expensive at night but incredible value at lunch-time. Philip runs a tight ship and it shows in terms of customer satisfaction - I have never heard a negative comment about Han from people who go there. Chinese New Year celebrations are particularly recommended.

We've been here many times with our family and never been disappointed, the food is amazing and staff really friendly and always recognize us when we come back, lovely dining room, clean and nicely decorated, it's not the cheapest place to eat but for £20 a head you can get 3 courses with a lot of food usually that you can't finish! We go here a lot for birthdays and special occasions.

Going for a family meal (5 adults) at 7pm when the restaurant is half full and having pre booked you don't expect to get slow almost grinding service.
The maitre d who is normally on form and shares a joke with each table gave the very clear impression he didn't have time for anyone.
When the slow service was mentioned to him he tried to avoid the question by forcing other people on the table to speak!
Food was still ok, and one bad experience will not stop me going but the service needs to be a little slicker next time!

Easily the best Chinese restaurant in the area this is a high-class restaurant with excellent food and service. All dishes are beautifully prepared and presented and the staff are amazingly friendly and efficient. Evening meals are relatively expensive but the lunch menu is surprisingly cheap. Very good wines (at a price).

We visited Han's as a party of 8. The staff are polite and friendly and the food is excellent. You will not leave here hungry as the portions are huge. The only downside tonight is that next to us was another large party who were very loud and it was difficult to hear each other. Over all, try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

We go here about once every 3 months for a business lunch. It's great value, fast and friendly service and tasty reliable food. It's always a treat.

I visited Han's with friends recently, I had fond memories of many meals enjoyed in the past in this restaurant and I was really looking forward to our visit. I do not like to give negative reviews as I believe that if something is wrong that it should be addressed at the time. However, the positives The Peking Duck, Singapore Noodles,were excellent and to be fair the rest of our meal was good. We could not fault the price and quality of the wine. The service was attentive, but what could be better would be the approach and handling of the order taking which was hard work because the young lady struggled to understand and her manner left a lot to be desired. I noticed that other tables served by the male waiter seemed very satisfied so perhaps this needs to be addressed.
My niece often orders take out from this restaurant and says that it is very good, so perhaps we will try that next time.

The best chinese we have ever had! Food is great, service is great, would definitely reccommend! Plus the manger is extremely friendly and welcoming! Highly advise going here if you want good food! We had the han banquet and have it everytime we go! So amazing

Not the standard dishes you can order anywhere. These are exciting tastes form different regions, some are spicy. Nice room which doesn't get too noisy when full. Good service!

We had takeaway so decor rating not relevant but wouldn't let us leave review without rating it. As good as any takeaway Chinese we've ever had.
