Lovely shop - this what a wine merchant should be like. Superb breadth of knowledge and good advice freely available even if you don’t buy. Duncan and his staff have a lovely quirkiness and sense of humour, it’s a real pleasure to go in there and have a browse around and we usually come out with something even if we didn’t intend to.

I visit Duncan and his team most Thursdays as I have dinner with a good friend. They always recommend a descent wine to go with the meal.
I tell them what I will be eating and generally the way I think it will be cooked and they always select the right wine to complement the food.
