As a business of long-standing and well-deserved high reputation it's no coincidence that my trigger for frequent journeys from Kettering is a visit to Duncan Murray Wines. There is always an interesting range of wines that are described on each shelf in an informative way .More importantly the customer service encompasses friendly, individual personally-applied service from people who obviously know the products well and care about matching the a customer's needs skilfully. The wine stock is augmented by plenty of local beers and a wide further selection of myriad spirits, etc. Having a particular interest in whisky it is a delight to be able to sample some relatively big-ticket items in order to make an informed choice - and to be able to select varieties that are hardly accessible beyond whisky specialist stores or websites. Overall it's a 5-star gem, the type of business every town deserves.

Very knowledgeable and the advice given is second to none. Always a very warm welcome whether its your first visit to the store or a regular. The wine tasting on a Saturday is a stroke of genius and something we have really enjoyed sharing with Friends, local and otherwise. In my opinion Duncan Murray is a well deserving winner of this award for all that him and his team bring to Market Harborough.
