There were 876 entries for the 2012 Santa Fun Run compared to 984 in the previous year. Entrants raising sponsorship were also down substantially on last year although the amount raised per entrant was over £90 against £73 last year. This year's total donation amount will be around £12,000.
The cheque presentation evening will take place on Wednesday 27th March, 7.00 p.m. for 7.30, at the One Stop Shop on Gilmorton Road when the following charities will be receiving cheques:-

Lutterworth Mayor’s Appeal
Age Concern Lutterworth and District
ASDA Charities for Everyman (Prostate Cancer Research)

This year's Santa Fun Run will take place on Sunday December 1st. The Town Lights Switch on is Friday November 29th.
Please note, John Turner, the current Santa Fun Run Chairman, will be standing down at the end of this year, and a new chairman urgently needs to be found to “shadow” John through this year.
