There were 936 entries – just short of the elusive 1,000 we had hoped to make but better than the previous year of 876.
Over the past 5 years the Lutterworth Rotary Clubs – Lutterworth Wycliffe and Lutterworth Club have raised a staggering £55,000 (this year just over £12,000 despite the continuing recession).
The major donations made were:-

Orchid (Fighting Male Cancer) - £1,160

Arthritis Research UK (Leicestershire and Rutland) - £870
Lutterworth Mayors Appeal - £800
Age Concern Lutterworth and District - £520
Rotary Charities - £600 each
ASDA Foundation - £350
Shelter Box - £230
Enterprise Centre - £150
The presentation was well attended with around 80 there giving great support to John Turner and his committee for such a smooth running event and looking forward to either partaking or supporting us again at the end of the year on Sunday 30th November.
