These are volunteers operating on behalf of the Ambulance service in their local area. They attend the most life threatening emergencies and often arrive before the ambulance itself. The Lutterworth group was set up in 2005 and has operated since then. The money raised from the Santa Fun Run will assist them in replacing obsolete defibrillators which will cost some £4,000 in total.
