LUTTERWORTH COLLEGE PRESS RELEASE: A LEVEL RESULTS 2014


Students at Lutterworth College were celebrating their A level results today.

Many students gained the top grades:

 

  • Over 40% of all results were B grades and above
  • 70% of all results were C grades and above

 

Executive Principal of Lutterworth College, Andrew Cooper, commented:

 “I’m so proud of our students; they are wonderful young people who deserve every success in the future.”

 “Our continued success is down to the fact that Lutterworth College has a long track record in offering a wide range of subjects and activities that appeal to students’ interests and ambitions. Many subjects achieved particularly strong results. Headlines include:

1 in 3 students achieved an A*-A in Maths, English Literature, Drama, Media Studies & PE

  • 100% of all results were B grades and above in Design Technology Systems & Control
  • 69% of all results were Distinction* or Distinction for BTEC Sports Studies
  • 50% of all results were B grade and above in Further Maths
  • 80%+ of all results were C grade and above in Geography, History, Philosophy & English Literature
