Hinckley & Rugby Building Society has won the East Midlands 2013 Chamber Award for Commitment to People Development and now goes forward to the national final.
Leicestershire’s sole finalist in the Chamber Awards 2013, Hinckley & Rugby is also the only building society to feature in the prestigious awards.
Hinckley & Rugby won the regional award for its 100 per cent commitment to being a great employer, where careers develop at all levels through support and training for nationally-recognised qualifications.

Hinckley & Rugby’s entry to the Chamber Awards 2013 highlighted the Society’s human touch ranging from non-automated underwriting, with a personal decision on mortgage applications, to its staff development programme to create the managers of the future.
