Burglary in Swinford

Officers are appealing for information following a burglary in Swinford.

The burglary happened sometime between 8.15am and 4.55pm on Wednesday April 9 at a property in Chapel Street.

Burglars broke into the property through a conservatory and stolen a number of items of jewellery including ladies and gents Tag Heuer and Rotary watches, cufflinks, rings and bracelets.

Detective Constable 4211 Nicola Hawkins, the investigating officer, said: “If you work in the second hand jewellery trade and have been offered any of these items please get in touch with police.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity which may have been linked to this burglary.”
