A Sunflower Ball is to take place on the 7th June 2014 at the Hinckley Island Hotel, Leicestershire.

The first ever Sunflower Ball is being held in memory of Tammy Harrison,
who was sadly lost in June 2013 to Cystic Fibrosis.

Cystic Fibrosis is a life-shortening inherited disease, affecting over 10,000 people in the UK.  You can’t catch or develop cystic fibrosis, it’s something you're born with and most cases in the UK are now diagnosed soon after birth.  In the UK around 1 in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes Cystic Fibrosis, most of us without knowing it, and you never know when or how your life may be touched by cystic fibrosis.

Organisers of the Sunflower Ball this June say it will be a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the Cystic Fibrosis charity whilst having a wonderful evening, which will include a three course meal, dancing to “Stax of Soul”, a raffle and an auction.

The music on the night will be provided by ‘Stax Of Soul’ who are the UK's leading Soul and Motown LIVE Party Band.  With their pulsating brass, driving rhythms and dynamic vocals, ‘Stax Of Soul’ are guaranteed to keep the dance floor full at this year’s first ever Sunflower Ball. Apparently sitting down is not an option when ‘Stax Of Soul’ take to the stage.

Organisers have also obtained sponsorship for the Sunflower Ball, which include Complete Car Care, ASHQ.co.uk, La Bicicleta, Trunki, Lockwoods, Coombe Abbey, Sundial Venues, Adam Summer Design and Bartram & Co.  Businesses that have donated gifts include items from Fearne Cotton, Ainsley Harriott, Laurence Llewelyn Bowen & Richard Curtis CBE.  If you would like to support the cause, you can call Robert O’Donnell on 07770 332076 or email info@sunflowerball.co.uk

The Sunflower Ball will start at 7pm on Saturday 7th June with Carriages at 1am.  There’s also a Black Tie and Evening Gown dress code and organisers are asking attendees to ‘dress to impress’.
