Halloween in Lowestoft
9th October 2012

Autumn is here, and it's nearly time to start carving your pumpkins and getting costumes ready for Halloween.  Why not get the children involved, let them draw a face on the pumpkin, you can then cut it out and then they can have the fun of the messy bit... scooping out the insides.

Halloween is becoming more and more popular in this country so expect lots of events happening in Lowestoft

Here in Lowestoft we have Pleasurewood Hills, they are opening for a spooky halloween and half term week 'The Hills Have Eyes'.  Opening from 27th October 2012 and closing on the 4th November with a spectacular fireworks display.

Take the children to the cinema or hire a Halloween themed DVD and have some chill out time with the children.

Carlton Marshes in Lowestoft are Helping Suffolk Wildife Trust collect records about what marine life is being washed up on our beaches. ID sheets and staff will be on hand to help. Children's crafts will also be avaliable, just pop down between 10 and 2pm on 30th October 2012 and find them on the beach near All Saints Road, Pakefield (£1 charge per child).

And don't forget here in Lowestoft the Claremont Pier, wrap up warm and have a walk along the seafront, stop of for a bite to eat in Nemo's or if you're feeling really energetic Rollers in the Claremont pier opens all year round for roller skating.
