I qualified in physiotherapy over 20 years ago in my home town of Aberdeen at the Robert Gordon University. Since then I have also gone on to do a Masters degree in Sports and Exercise Science in 2003 and Advancing Practice degree in Physiotherapy in 2006. In 2003 I left sunny Aberdeen to work at the English Institute of Sport in Lilleshall, Birmingham and Loughborough where I provided physiotherapy to Elite athletes in a number of different sports. As part of my job I was privileged to be able to attend many events including the World Championships and Commonwealth Games as physiotherapist for British Triathlon.

Since having my lovely 2 children my days travelling away with teams has finished and I am now one of the senior physiotherapists and a Partner in Sports Medicine Partners in Lichfield. We have a great team of massage therapists, physiotherapists and Doctors who have expertise in a number of areas including back pain, women's health including stress in continence, golfing injuries and general injuries. We are very passionate, not just about getting people pain free, but also getting people back to what they enjoy most and giving them the correct advice and exercises to prevent the injury or pain recurring.
