The Lichfield & District Lions Charity Club are looking for new members to help the community whilst having a good time and making new contacts from all walks of life in and around Lichfield. Here in Lichfield we look to do justice to the Lions’ motto “We Serve”.
Since being established in 1972 we have been able to raise over £1m from events large and small. Local organisations we have been able to help include; St Giles Hospice, Loughton Court, Live at Home Scheme’ The Pathway Project, Lichfield Talking Newspaper, Staffordshire Young Carers.
Let’s not forget about having a good time! We do all the usual things like eating, the odd drink, cultural activities (not too many) and making the serious business of fund raising fun and not a chore.
Why not come along to one of our regular meetings at the George Hotel,Bird Street on the second Monday of each month (business) and the fourth Monday (social).
