Been on our list to visit, for way too long! Just an amazing experience, the Volunteers and staff all were both very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The weather was unpredictable so we took the visitors train with a commentary, which was great, g cause we then knew where we wanted to prioritise to go. Beautifully cared for grounds and some fabulous installations, the Submariners one in particular. Although busy, were served with food very quickly with plenty of seating. Lots of places to sit and take in the surroundings and need to make another visit. Special mention to the Poppy Scotland team who were visiting, very informative and interesting

Honouring the many souls (including young babies) and the armed services who have served this country.

Very emotional visit to fallen comrades. Immaculate premises and memorials. Staff so incredibly helpful. Can't understand why I can only rate it as 5 stars... worth so much more.

Lovely peacefull place with many helpfull and knowledgeable personnel eager to assist. A large area to cover would need more than a single visit.
I was there on a beautiful day. Rain would not be good for visiting this manorial. Excellent restaurant.

Restrooms: Clean and in good order

Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome on a lead. Some forces dogs have their own place of remberence.

Awesome place as solemn places go.

Playground: Adventure trail for kids say 2+ looking for stickman (think gruffalo idea), play area for older kids possibly 5+.

Restrooms: Erm they are just standard toilets - modern and clean, not a place to rest but everyone but Americans know this....

Dog-friendliness: Dogs allowed anywhere in the grounds with the exception of one memorial (I think).

Picnic area: Acres of grass, lots of benches all over.

The concept is great, and the grounds are fantastic: lots of space & beautifully maintained. But I struggle to see how "the Showman's Guild" warrants a memorial, whilst the atrocities committed by the British army kind of get swept under the carpet with very little explanation at the "Shot at dawn" memorial.
You need a full day here to appreciate it all - and even then you'd never see it all.
