Beautiful, peaceful place to reminisce, think of those who fought/fight for us and to pay respect for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Lovely place to visit, educational for children. Lovely shop, exhibitions on, and a land train to book tickets on to be taken round the gardens.
It is over 150 acres so a good pair of walking shoes is advisable.
They have a beautiful Chapel that does a 2min silence 11am, 364 days a year. Only day they close is Xmas Day.
Definately worth a trip!

First visit for us, excellent cafe facilities. road train ride very worthwhile as the area is very expansive to walk all around and you get an idea of where you would like to spend more time. New memorial garden opened while we visited, it was very emotional. A must visit for everyone.

A great place of reflection and peace. We visited for the memorial for Sikh soldiers who gave their lives in the Great War organised by Captain Jay Singh Sohal of the British Army Reserve. It was a very moving and poignant ceremony with a one minute silence and the laying of wreaths at 11am

Each time we visit we find things we've not seen before.

The whole area is immaculate and beautifully presented. It's a great tribute to all who have served their country and the supporting organisations but also those in the public sector.

I would recommend a visit to everyone, it is an opportunity to pay respects, say thank you and for quiet reflection in this current world.

A good place to visit, everyone should visit here at least once in a lifetime as it is important to remember the sacrifice made by others whether it’s the armed forces or our public services.
Booked online prior to the day which you pay for parking only, visit to the memorials is free.
Large site arrived at 11:00 left at 16:00 I’m sure you could easily stay longer.
Cafe is really good, reasonably priced but service is a bit slow.

Only real negative is that you park tour car and are asked whether you’ve already paid etc no asking for prove etc so this is just open to dishonesty and the staff should request confirmation I feel.
Lots of places were flooded so large detour was needed, I would recommend wellies or walking boots during this time of year and all routes are accessible for wheelchairs and prams.

What a fabulous place and even in the pouring rain! Thought provoking but in a different way than our visits to the WW1 & 11 sites in Normandy and Flanders

I think everyone should go and visit to see all of the names of the brave service personnel who gave their lives for us ,so we could be free 😢

I've been to the NMA on numerous occasions in the past, but this was my first time attending Ride to the Wall (RTTW). I am a member of the Stafford Military Wives Choir and had the absolute privilege and pleasure of being a part of this performing in Heroes Square. So many people, so many bikes and so many special memories in one incredible place. The actual service on the steps is both heartbreaking and breathtaking at the same time. Please visit just once to pay your respects and to soak in the atmosphere of this wonderful place

What an amazing yet moving place. We called here on the way home from a short break in Stafford. I found several memorials to my father's Polish Army which was interesting. The Shot at Dawn memorial was very poignant as some of those shot were only children, not that anyone should have been shot anyway. Lots of memorials to see although it was rather soggy walking to some of them due to the recent floods. There is a land train for the less able, although £7.50 is a little steep if you have a family, but then again admission to the Arboretum is free. There is a cafe selling great food, reasonably priced. You do need a full day to see everything
