A very thought provoking place. Someone told me they didn't want to go because they thought it would be morbid - it definitely isn't that. It is a memorial in the truest sense, celebrating lives sadly lost and sacrifices made. I have no military connections at all but I learn something I didn't know every time I visit. The grounds are immaculate, children are encouraged to visit and use the play park / sensory garden, there is a lovely cafe and the guides are brilliant.

What a wonderful tribute to the men and women from around the world who have fought for the rights of the people. A tribute to the survivors and fitting memorial to those who never came home.
We took a guided tour (ride) around, which barely scratched the service. The memorials are incredible - they are sensitive and respectful and very thought provoking.
Beautifully laid out, and thought has gone into the plantings versus the memorials/countries which was a special touch.
A lovely gift shop - quality merchandise, somewhere to get that special sourvineer that has a lot of meaning.
Totally recommend a visit, allow at least half a day.

Free entry with a recommended £5 donation but no pressure to pay it.
£3 parking all day
Marvellous place to visit that improves constantly.
Volunteer staff cannot do enough for you.
The only moan would be that they need to sort out the drainage in areas.

The National Arboretum is very easy to find with £3 parking all day ,with free entry but of course nearly everyone makes a donation.

Incredible and beautiful tributes to the fallen who defended and fought for there countries with honour.Beautiful memorials and fantastic grounds .

You could spend a day here, and an auditory option is avaiable to you ,as is a small train thsts stops at certain points and a talk given.

Easy for the disabled to get around and this area is thought out well ,with electric wheelchairs made available.

Lovely café which does hot mesls, teas and cakes...although to be fair on the pricey side...but it all goes to the Arboretum.

It realy is a wonderful place to visit...emotional and moving.

Last there in December this place is a regular visit for me, a moving a fitting tribute to many organisations who have lost people in the cause of their duty. Brilliant memorials often very well thought out using materials from all over the world, the restaurant is light airy and large serving good quality food and coffee. The gift shop shouldn't be called a gift shop, its not full of your average plastic memorabilia, the the items are very high quality and it makes an excellent place to shop for Birthday or Christmas gifts. The site is a must visit for everyone. There is no entrance fee but all you spend goes to the upkeep
