Great day. Fascinating place, will need a re-visit to see all the memorials. Will be back to see what we missed.

Visited today for the cinema showing of peter rabbit. Great room and facilities, staff were friendly too! We then had a gorgeous walk around the park along the river, with stunning vistas!
Cafe had a wide selection of tasty food and reasonably priced.
Fantastic place and highly recommend a visit

Fantastic place to visit. Took my young son who was mesmerized by the different memorials. Situated in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside it is a very calm and peaceful place to visit. Highly recommend

Lovely memorial gardens and landscaped lawns for all ages to reflect and remember the fallen soldiers. The kids enjoyed the Stick man Nature Trail exploring the park playgrounds and woodlands during their half-term holidays. Prebook a mini-train to view the gardens. Cafeteria stocks a good range of hot and cold drinks and snacks although a little pricey for value. Clean seating areas and friendly staff are on hand. Well organised disabled facilities and toilets are easy to access. Generally a good place for afternoon walks and plenty of quiet spots in between to pause for thought.

Went to NMA to watch the Tornado finale flypast. I was surprised at how big the place was and at the amount of memorials there. Very well looked after, clean and tidy.

I visited the arboretum with my husband after a night in Birmingham. We found the various memorials very moving. The names on the giant walls are of all those who have died serving their country since the second world war but there are all sorts of memorials and trees dotted around the grounds. I was particularly moved by the "shot at dawn" shed. Names and stories about the poor lads (one as young as 16 as he lied about his age to go and fight for his country) who were shot by their own side after deserting their duties because of illness - we know it as shell shock. There is a cafe and information centre. Well worth a visit.

Great day out for all the family, so much to see! My partner and I have been a few times now with our cameras and a picnic as the restaurant gets quite busy!

It's been a long time since we last came here. The reception area has been transformed and is fresh and welcoming. As we had arrived a bit late as anticipated at around lunch time, we decided to get a bite to eat. We both decided on a sandwich and cup of tea. The seating area in the cafe was bright and comfortable and suited our needs. The sandwiches were delicious and value for money. The actual Arboretum is a special place to visit for myself, even in february the gardens and outside spaces are beautiful places to lose yourself in. This appeals to all age groups, there is a play area for young people, there is a land train, a buggy and mobility scooters for people with mobility issues. You can spend hours here at your own leisure and return home feeling relaxed and refreshed.
