First trip to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire dedicated to the men and women who have lost their lives in conflict since the Second World War. Much bigger than I expected. Very well designed. Beautiful grounds even on a very cold, grey, windy, and for the latter part wet, March day. Good restaurant too. Well worth a visit. Grounds will be even better in the summer.

A wonderful place to reflect on the hardships endured and sacrifices made by others on our behalf.

A very eerie and at times, emotional place for some, it is amazingly well presented with beautiful memorials that pay fitting homage to those they represent. The visitor centre continues this theme. Guided tours are not necessary but are very interesting and can help to give perspective to those with less knowledge.

The volunteers are so friendly and helpful, it's always a pleasure to visit here. The memorials have spread out across the site and are being added to all the time. We'll be happy to return in the future.

What a wonderful place to visit, the grounds are beautiful, when we visited the spring flowers were in full bloom.
The staff were all very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
It must be of great comfort for the family to visit a memorial for their loved one in such a peaceful setting.
We will definitely revisit because this museum was too big to see in just one visit.
Thank you to everyone for a really memorable visit.

Humbling to visit there. Think hard if you want to go in the Japanese Prisoner exhibit.

well on the edge of Tamworth well worth a day trip. so many memorials for so many people and so take a picnic or eat in the cafe. the place at the far end where the posts are is haunting...to think we shot boys and men for shell shock....very sad. but please celebrate the many who gave everything, visit the wall.peace all.

We paid for the 'buggy' tour and would definitely recommend it as a great introduction to the site. Ian, our volunteer driver, was very knowledgeable. And all the money (plus gift-aid) goes to the charity.

Worth visiting (and FREE) for a day out. Memorials are very well done, as is the maintenance and care of them.
