Everyone should visit here at least once. What a beautiful, purpose built place to honour our dead. The atmosphere around the area is one of peace and tranquillity. A place of remembrance for the whole family to enjoy.

Fantastic place to go and very wheelchair friendly I took my hearing dog with me and enjoyed it very much.

First time on the indicated dog walk, further than you think with short stretches of rough ground (for those less mobile). But a great walk along the riverside. Get use to looking at the backs of monuments though. Still recommended and don't forget your free dog walkers map!

Well worth the visit, have meant to go before, made it and wished we had gone before as it really does bring home the sacrifice that has been made over time. Amazing place and everyone should make the effort to go.

Visited today
Smashing place to visit , a very large site but plenty of benches to sit and rest , we were there for 6 hours and really only managed to visit the main areas.
On arrival paid £3 parking fee not bad for the whole day .
£3 for the map probably a bit too dear for what what info was in it.
£6 each for the land train 50 minute tour ( good for getting your bearings but if you disembarked at any point that’s your lot )driver was knowledgeable and good fun .
£6 each for a 45 minute secret service tour . Much better value the guide taking us to each monument and giving a very interesting and knowledgeable talk about each and every one . Highly recommended..
No. If you would like to join in the 11 am rememberance service in the chapel , arrive there early ,we turned up ar 10.50 All seats taken .. no standing .
Only real grumble was the cheese and ham toastie purchased in the coffee shop which was tasteless and not very appetising at all .
I will revisit in a couple of years time to see how The Arboretum has evolved ,and will be recommending that my friends visit.

So peacefull, relaxing, poingnant, dog friendly, could spend hours there. Walked nearly 4 miles, everybody spoke to each other, great place to get away from the rat race and relax. Everybody should go at least once and it should be on every schools visit list for the historical value. Love it.

They hold a Remembrance Service here every day at 11am in the delightful chapel. We found the sight well laid out and beautifully looked after. The cafe was bright and airy with a good choice of hot and cold food for sale.<br>Lovely gift shop. If we lived nearer I would definitely visit again.

Attended the unveiling of the Free Spirit memorial. The NMA has excellent facilities and well maintained memorials.
