This is a very moving place to visit. It's well worth going on a buggy and train trip where the very knowledgeable guides will tell you all about the memorials.

I have been waiting to come to The National Memorial Arboretum for years, we picked a glorious day to visit which made an already wonderful day really special. I never served in the services but I realise what those who have served and those who currently do have given so greatly that it should never be forgotten. The site has a lovely restaurant to have a snack or a meal before or after you walk round the site. For those who are disabled like me, you can hire a electric scooter or wheelchair to get around. Don't hesitate to visit it is a sombre but inspiring visit.

The only 'drawback' with the Arboretum was the lack of time to explore fully. If possible, would suggest making this a two-day visit.
The grounds themselves are glorious and extremely well tended.
Monuments are not only sculpturally magnificent, but also respectful and poignant.
Staff throughout our trip were welcoming, patient and informative.
Can't recommend the Arboretum highly enough.

An excellent Memorial to ALL walks of life both military and civilian. We attended a plaque dedication for 2 young Corporals murdered in pursuit of their duties. A wonderful place to visit.

Another moving but enjoyable experience. Always things of interest happening. We joined in at The National Service Veterans Memorial for a remembrance service, everyone there were so helpful. There seemed to be activity all around the area, including a Craft and Food Fair. Certainly a place to visit.

Our visit was on a support the arm forces day, it was very was attended, the memorial is beautifully presented and has a feeling of peace and solitude even with the crowds there, The entry is free to the whole memorial arboretum area, which is beautifully keep. There is an excellent cafe and toilet facilities.

A fantastic day out and will be back soon, The place has expanded so much you will need more than a day to see it all, mobility scooters can be hired for the day but should be prebooked before you arrive, free parking and free entry the rest is up to you...
