This is 150 acres of reclaimed quarry which has been turned into a great space for memorials. The trees and planting provide lots of individual spaces for memorials. Especially liked the main mound, the shot at dawn memorial and the showman’s guild space. Too many to see in one day but lots of symbolism. Pity that some of the trees had died though. The staff were all very helpful and showed respect. Enjoyed the 10:55 service and explanation.

Very family friendly and good access for the less mobile. All the staff are volunteers (I believe)and are so friendly too. A nice place to visit if you are looking for somewhere not noisy. A fantastic cafe serves delicious hot and cold food and very reasonably priced.
Everywhere is very clean.

Amazing, even in the pouring rain the Arboretum still manages to evoke a sense of pride and honour for those that have given their lives for all those that are still able to live ours.

Very thought provoking to wander around at random. Beautifully kept grounds . Lots of butterflies & birds. The new restaurant, shop & display area is wheelchair friendly. Staff very helpful. Lots of space to be alone with your thoughts if you need to.

I had wanted to visit here for some time but unfortunately hadn’t got round to it until the weekend. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday morning and perfect weather to walk outdoors. On arrival we were asked to pay £3 for parking but considering the exhibitions and gardens are all free £3 is absolutely nothing. The exhibitions inside were very insightful and thought provoking in their own brilliantly individual ways. After spending some time inside we grabbed coffees from the coffee shop and took off to the gardens to see the memorials and sculptures which were again all incredible... there’s so much to see! We were only here for a couple of hours but you could easily spend all day here wandering around. A very beautiful and poignant place.

Visited here in July, totally over awed by the size of the place, over 350 memorials to everything imaginable. Very well laid out, pleasant and helpful staff, very clean and well kept. The train is well worth going on.

it's very important for people to be able to visit from all ages. the best part which I enjoyed exploring is the Scouting memorial. I really like the northern Ireland memorial. All our group thought the grounds were well kept and very peaceful.

I spent 5 hours there. Started with the land train to get an idea of the layout. There are lots of benches around the arboretum which I greatly appreciated. I had the jacket potato for lunch and enjoyed it. There's also a very nice gift shop.

What a great place to visit so moving however. Don't go for the jacket potato at the restaurant it was feeble. £4.95 and we got a potato with a sprinkling of dry cheese on top and no salad (that would have been extra). I reckon the ingredients cost £0.50p sorry but it was poor.
Go and have a coffee in the coffee shop instead that was very good.

A wonderful but humbling place to visit to pay respect to thise who gave their life for our freedom and those who helped with our armed services in the pursuit of the same goal.
Ensure you are prepared to walk a long way as the site is massive and takes many hours to do it justice. There is a Land Train tour which takes you round the main areas.
Parking is good, ensure you have £3 in cash or pay in the reception area.
The restaurant/cafe is suitably priced and provides hot meals as well as snack etc... I would recommend that you buy your hot drinks from the Coffee Shop across the courtyard as the coffee is made properly and not from a push button vending machine; and also the same price!
Overall I recommend the National Memorial Arboretum as a day out.

What a amazing place. From the wonderful volunteers to the moving tributes to the fallen. What a well looked after place and grounds. Definitely should visit to honour the people who gave their today for our tomorrow. We rented a room for a meeting and were well looked after, great venue. Will be visiting again soon.

A stunning memorial to the armed forces- done with reverence and class. The centrepiece memorial to those dying since 1947 (with over 16k names) is particularly sobering. The gardens are beautiful and the cleanliness unsurpassed. Lots of volunteers on hand giving wonderful insight. The land train is £6 and worth it and covers 70% of the huge estate. We gave a voluntary donation- it’s free but this place deserves all donations. Just fabulous.
