Absolutely amazing place. My husband has dementia and it was so refreshing and rewarding to see him reminiscing about his dads memories and of course some of his own. Would like to give a huge thank you to Carol our tour guide who made our day extra special with entertaining and informative anecdotes.

Visited on a sunny Saturday after pre-booking, spent several hours admiring all the various memorials around the the beautiful Arboretum, well worth a visit each year and make a donation, very helpful staff.

Booked the land train immediately for the 11.30am slot and was given lots of information. In the afternoon we found lots of interesting areas. We should have picked up a map.

Wonderful day out, so moving to be able to visit and reflect and remember all those who have defended us and especially those who died in conflict. So thought provoking done beautifully. A real jewel in the crown of the Country. Free entry but currently need to pre book parking. Very motivated kind and helpful volunteers. Particularly grateful to the volunteer who explained to us the statutes and significance of the position of the memorial wall. Good value coffee shop. Really excellent place for reflection and learning.

If you have links or history in the family to military, this is a very special place and for anyone who just wants a sedate walk seeing and learning history it's amazing. You cannot do in one day. It's a very special place, I would definitely recommend!!

What they have is quite good, but I was disappointed to discover they have no record at all of casualties prior to 1945. Granted there were colossal casualty numbers in both world wars, but I would have expected to find at least a database of every life lost as a consequence of enemy action.

Unbelievably great place. The hard work and detail that has gone into the memorials is a wonderful reflection of the gratitude of a grateful Nation. We will never forget them.
