I did not, but worth checking if you need to book before going .
I completely under-estimated how big this place is.
Very peaceful - tranquil - quite - humbling.

Some very touching soul searching pieces.

If you only intend to go once. Allow yourself plenty of time.

I expect to return to do the bits I didn't do this time. Sits on 150 acres. Comfy shoes as lots of walking.

We visited here 4th September with our parents who came down from Scotland and we came up from Cornwall. It was the Royal Corps of Signals Memorial Service. This was our first ever visit, what a fantastic place to visit! We want to go back as it is massive, we need a couple more days there. Overwhelming. Thank you to everyone who was so kind to us. Very poignant service as were the memorials that we did manage to see. Thank you for a fabulous day.

A lovely day, marred by the behaviour of a couple of the volunteers. One gentelman in a red baseball cap who turned out to be an official volunteer would accost us and start talking about Donald Trump, which was a little odd as we were trying to appreciate the otherwise lovely arboretum.

A worthy visit!
Super place, good parking facilities reasonable cost ( we pre booked)
COVID friendly. Suitable for those to enjoy who may not be as fit to do the walking.
The walking was wonderful, lots of places to sit and reflect the wonders of this place
and those remembered. Even if you don’t know somebody ‘personally’ you can’t
help but acknowledge and appreciate this wonderful place, facilities etc
Cafe worthy of mention… looked and tasted beautifully presented Fayre, reasonably priced
Spotlessly clean, staff friendly. Toilets spotless ..top marks! So many volunteer staff..
Admirable …THANK YOU. We will return to appreciate the colours of Autumn.

It was a great experience I have been before and I still love lt we took our son this time and he really got emotional at the brilliant display in the Singapore prison of Wall. Last time I was hear I to got emotional everything you see it puts life in to prospective and what these all went through. Loved every bit of it.

Wonderful place to visit. The main memorial is spectacular. You need all day to see everything but the ride on the visitors' train is very informative and an easy way of seeing different areas, particularly for those with mobility issues. Every time I go they seem to have added something new.

We had been meaning to visit for some time and finally made it this summer. Set aside plenty of time (3hrs+), there is so some much to taken in. The main memorial is really moving with very thought provoking statues but there are so many other places on the 150 acre site equally worthy of visiting. It is very well organised, pre booking cars a must but the rest is simple. Very good facilities for all ages and mobilities. If I had a criticism - the Gulf War memorial garden needs a lot of its trees replacing. If you need a rest mid visit, the cafeteria is very good and also caters well for groups. I thoroughly recommend this as a 'must visit' venue for all ages.

This place is one of those must visit places. Very well presented and maintained and respectfully set out memorials in a very large site. More than one day needed to see the whole place and I will be returning again.

A very special place to visit, especially when considering that it is somewhere, where people can respect the lives lost, from every corner of the world, in the name of freedom. We were impressed and humbled by the number of people and organisations represented. We will visit again, as after just a little over an hour, we hadn't covered everything, including the area representing some of my family.

It's a place not to miss. Sobering, educational, emotive. Especially moving to those who have lost someone in the service of their country.
