We had a nice lunch before wandering around the grounds. I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. A huge place I was quite moved reading all the individual plaques and names. Well worth a trip

As a Veteran, I can reflect and remember those that didn't come back and those still suffering, for our freedom. RIP.

Such an amazing place for reflection. Interesting for so many reasons, memorable and of course sad too. I am so pleased we have a place for this. The team if people there are so helpful and approachable too!

It should go without saying that this site will mean so much more to those who have given public service to the country and the relatives of those that have lost their lives during service.
Visitors who do not have such a deep connection will still appreciate the memorials and tributes that fill the site and enjoy the tranquillity and landscape. Like any arboretum it will only get better as the trees and shrubs mature and I’m sure people will appreciate the park for untold years to come.
Substantial car parks, catering facilities and toilets are provided for those spending time there. At the time of my visit there was no admission charge (donations appreciated) and a modest car parking charge.

A wonderful place to visit. So tranquil as you wonder around listening to the birds and reading the memorials. Particularly moved by the Shot at Dawn memorial. So glad those young men were pardoned and can be remembered. Excellent facilities too. Lovely cafe.

We decided to stop here on the way home. Thought we would only be an hour, three hours later we were amazed at all the different monuments commemorating all services. Unfortunately we could not stay longer, and did not see everything. The staff and volunteers were friendly and helpful, definitely worth a visit.
