The Point opens up Thorpe Park to all walks of life, with a range of one to four-bedroom homes and apartments.

Award-winning homebuilder Redrow is expanding its presence in Leeds with a new development that is now available to buy off plan.

The Point at Thorpe Park, Leeds, launched on June 25th 2019 with a range of two and four-bedroom homes available to buy. Homebuyers can reserve plots that are now available to purchase.

In total, 300 homes will be built at Thorpe Park- The Point and The Avenue and first to launch at The Point are the four-bedroom semi-detached family homes The Bramhope and Roundhay with prices starting from £313,950 and a four-bedroom detached Collingham that starts at £369,950. Also launched is the two-bedroom Alwoodley apartments with prices starting at £219,950. The homes facing onto Central Park will feature blue brick, light render, timber cladding and grey windows. This style of home moves away from the traditional styles and delivers a modern external frontage.

The Collingham is a contemporary home ideal for growing families with a spacious lounge and kitchen/dining rooms perfect for spending time together. Upstairs, there are four good-sized bedrooms and an en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom as well as a family bathroom.

There will also be 42 two-bedroom apartments in three and four-storey buildings. Each apartment has a master bedroom including an en-suite plus a second double bedroom and separate bathroom. The lounge and kitchen area has been designed so homeowners have plenty of space to relax and entertain guests and these apartments will be perfect for first-time buyers or those looking for a more manageable home with little maintenance.

Redrow’s development will be separated from the commercial areas of Thorpe Park Leeds by the newly created public park, a new 110-acre green space with footpaths, cycle ways, informal areas of open space, woodland and new wetland areas.

Steve Jackson, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), said: “Redrow’s presence across Yorkshire and within Leeds especially, is very strong.  The Point is particularly special due to the open space and a cycle path network connecting the site and surrounding development to the numerous attractions at Thorpe Park including The Springs Retail Park. There are good schools and other services locally and East Garforth train station can get residents into Leeds 15 minutes.”

Redrow are also offering a variety of initiatives to help homebuyers move into a new home. The Help to Sell scheme enables homeowners to go from old to new in 4 easy steps and help towards estate agents' fees. Any first-time buyers looking to find their perfect home can take advantage of the government-backed Help to Buy scheme with a minimum 5% deposit.

A fully-furnished Roundhay show home is due to open before the end of the year with a further two Oxford Lifestyle and Cambridge show homes opening in March 2020. The on-site sales centre will be open until the show homes are ready and will be open 10am to 5.30pm from Thursday 4th July.
