REDROW INTRODUCES NEW PHASE OF POPULAR SHERBURN HOMES

REDROW has released the latest phase of its popular Sherburn-in-Elmet development, near Selby, as Saxon Gardens spreads its roots further.

The homebuilder is expecting big demand for the three and four-bedroom properties after the sell-out success of earlier stages of both Saxon Gardens and its predecessor The Sycamores.

“We choose our locations very carefully and, however successful we anticipate a development will be, it is always a delight when it happens,” says Steve Jackson, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire).

“Sherburn-in-Elmet has proved to be particularly popular because of its superb rural surroundings, easy-to-access transport links to both Leeds and York and, of course, our wonderful Heritage Collection homes.

“We are really pleased to be able to offer more homes for sale in this, our latest phase and look forward to welcoming more residents to what is a growing and thriving village community.”

New homes released for sale include the Ludlow three-bedroom semi and four-bedroom detached Shrewsbury and Cambridge styles, with current prices from £239,950.

Among them, the semi-detached Ludlow successfully combines style, space and affordability. The ground floor boasts a large fully-fitted kitchen and dining area that spans the entire width of the house with double doors opening onto the rear garden, while there’s a roomy and comfortable lounge and ever-handy cloakroom at the front of the property.

Upstairs are three good-sized bedrooms, the master of which has that now all-important en-suite, plus a family bathroom.

It’s all packaged in a traditional-looking exterior that boasts some of the Arts & Crafts styling that characterises Redrow’s Heritage Collection. Feature details include the hipped roof, double-height square bay, decorative brickwork and the porch supported by a gallows-style bracket.

At Saxon Gardens, like elsewhere, Redrow has a range of incentives aimed at making any purchase easier and more accessible.

The government-backed Help to Buy scheme allows buyers to purchase a new home with as little as 5% deposit. The initial cost is reduced by a 20% equity loan which is interest free for five years, making the homes easier to afford, and requiring a mortgage of 75% from a lender of choice.

For those with an existing property to sell, Redrow’s Help to Sell incentive is ideal. Through it Redrow will arrange valuations, instruct agents and chase progress – all designed to ensure a swift sale – and will even contribute to the customer’s selling fees.
