Solar panel specialists EOS Energy has appointed Darren Gardner as Business Development Manager.
In 2010, Darren worked with a number of individuals in the region to form RETA (Renewable Energy Technology Alliance). He is currently the Chair for this best practice club that offers support for businesses and individuals on environmental issues and renewable technologies. As part of the Alumet Group, EOS Energy has worked closely with Darren to establish RETA as a recognised industry voice during the past 12 months.
Darren brings with him several years of experience as Sector Advisor for Environmental Technologies at Coventry City Council. EOS Director Dean Walton commented “We are delighted that Darren has joined us, he will be working with our commercial, agricultural and social housing clients, where his knowledge and experience will provide our customers with the best possible service. A key part of his role will be developing our hugely popular Community Green initiative, where EOS pay 10p per watt purchased back into a community scheme.”
In the past 12 months the Warwickshire based company has gained both IS0 14001 and Investors in Excellence accreditations. EOS’ achievements have recently been validated with a run of industry accolades, including a double win at the Renewables Awards for Commercial Renewables Project and Commercial Installer of the Year.
