PLANS for a multi-million pound shopping arcade in Leamington town centre will be brought back - ‘for political reasons’.

Proposals for the £90 million 21,000sq ft Clarendon Arcade, a partnership between Warwick District Council and developer Wilson Bowden, were first put forward in 2007 but refused planning permission by the council’s planning committee last November.

Last week, Leamington town centre manager David Butler revealed the scheme would be revived at a talk for Rotary Club members. See the full article fro the Leamington Courier here.
