EOS Energy's parent company The Alumet Group were named Business of the Year on Friday 17th February at the very first Pride of Stratford Awards held at the Holiday Inn, Stratford. The Alumet Group fought off tough competition from the likes of Enable International and Pink Connect who also operate in the local area of Stratford-upon-Avon.

The Alumet Group were awarded the first title of the evening by Touch FM DJ Ben Day. The Business of the Year Award recognised Alumet’s success in training and development of their workforce, gaining Investors in Excellence accreditation, successful diversification into solar panels and their positive environmental commitment to the local community as a result of their ‘Community Green Initiative’.

Director Dean Walton collected the prestigious swan shaped trophy on behalf of the team, commenting “I am incredibly proud to accept this award on behalf of The Alumet Group. Winning this award has made a huge difference to the business and will reward the hard work of the incredible 115 members of staff we currently employ. We will be using the prestigious title to promote our 20th anniversary open day which will be held at our headquarters in Southam on the 6th of July, to which all are welcome to attend.”

Steve Orchard, CEO of Quidem Midlands (owners of Touch FM) commented "Alumet's success at the inaugural Pride of Stratford awards is thoroughly deserved. The judges were impressed by the Company's vision, its team ethic and its focus on customers. All these attributes make Alumet an outstanding winner"
